Nasim introduces Peugeot 308 GT

Nasim has introduced the Peugeot 308 GT into the market. The three-door performance hatch is the second Pug to be launched by the company here following the facelifted 407 sedan's arrival in July.

The GT is powered by a Prince 1.6l 16-valve turbo high pressure (THP) block, the same as found on the MINI Cooper S, which produces 175bhp at 6,000rpm and 240Nm of torque available from 1,600rpm on. Transmission type is a six-speed manual gearbox, and performance figures are a 225kmh top speed and 0-100kmh time of 8.3secs.

Equipment spec levels on the NCAP 5-star rated vehicle include 18-inch alloys, automatic Xenon headlights, leather seats, six airbags and a large panoramic moonroof.

There's no doubt that the 308 GT THP 175, which is priced at RM159,999 (on the road) is targeted at the enthusiast, and makes for a very interesting addition to the performance category.
